God’s power and presence has continued to fuel us as a ministry.  We are all passionate about helping people, but time and time again, we have seen God move in unexpected ways. There are many times He has done this and fun to recount a few below…

• When we saw a rise in positive cases, He made a way through partners in our community to keep families safe by providing individual hotel rooms and also a separate place for those who tested positive and needed to quarantine. We are praising God that we have not had a positive case since early May.

• God blessed us with a significant gift through a local foundation. When Covid shut down government agencies, we thought the building project was indefinitely delayed, but somehow the permits were approved and the demolition began. We marvel at what God is doing when we see the progress.

• When we were low on masks and cleaning supplies, the community has stepped in, just at the right time to help.

Prayer is part of our culture here at KGM and we are intentional about gathering together, weekly.  We believe God moves on our behalf as we seek Him first. This year has been challenging, but we feel like we’ve been through a tremendous season of growth. From staff, to guests, to volunteers, God is preparing us for the next season in this ministry.
