Matchhead Coffee – Coming Fall 2021

Matchhead Coffee is opening at the Radiant City Center this fall! Matchhead will serve as Radiant Church’s front porch to our community and provide an environment where we can reveal the love of Jesus to everyone who enters. Read more about the vision of Matchhead below.

Matchhead Coffee is a third-wave coffee shop that will serve a traditional espresso menu, specialty drinks, seasonal offerings, and local pastries in a welcoming atmosphere on the Kalamazoo Mall.

Matchhead was born out of a desire to create a place that sparks something on the inside of each person that walks through our doors. Whether it sparks a new friendship, business opportunity, or a new creative idea, We desire to create a space that facilitates creativity and community. 

We are proudly serving Onyx Coffee as our main roaster, with a rotating schedule of guest roasters on espresso and batch brew. Our basic offerings include batch brew coffee, iced coffee, a traditional espresso menu (including lattes, cappuccinos, etc.), tea, and seasonal specialties. All of our syrups will be made in-house, and we will be sourcing pastries from local Kalamazoo vendors.

We are a non-profit organization, and a portion of Matchhead will be dedicated to giving back to the community. We are excited to share what that looks like as we get closer to opening.

Matchhead is an affiliate of Radiant Church and intends to be a space that serves the downtown Kalamazoo community. We are located at 209 S Kalamazoo Mall.
