Myanmar | Day 1

Hi, my name is Tiffany Cummings! Earlier this year my parents, Jane and Lee Cummings, and I went on an Impact Trip to visit our missionaries in Myanmar. It was an incredible week, and I’m so excited to tell you about it!

When we arrived at the children’s home in Myanmar, we were instantly greeted with so much love and excitement. As soon as we got out of the van we were each hugged and introduced to everyone. Once we got inside the building we were greeted with gifts and traditional skirts called longyi. 

Right away we did worship and danced together. The kids recited Bible verses, sang songs, and performed dances for us. You could tell how proud they were of their hard work and to be able to share their dances. We then got a tour of the whole children’s home. The kids had so much fun showing each of us where they slept; a space they could finally feel safe in.
