Nicaragua | Day 1

On this Impact Trip we have Matt, Landon, Michelle, Stephanie, and Mandie. We’ve all gotten together a few times before this to get to know each other and pray over the trip, but now it really begins! We met at the airport, hopped on a plane, and flew south!

We’re headed to Nicaragua to visit Carrie Kennedy, a missionary that Radiant supports through Kingdom Builders. There, she works with Vida Joven (Young Life) to spread the gospel and disciple youth all throughout the country.

After a full day of travel, we landed in Nicaragua in late evening and were welcomed by our Young Life hosts, Carrie Kennedy and Margine Altamirano. We spent the night in Managua for the evening and enjoyed dinner at the hotel together. Then it was off to bed!
