PowerUp

PowerUp is a weekend backpack program committed to feeding hungry children in the public schools of the Kalamazoo region. This ministry serves children who participate in their schools' free and reduced lunch programs by packing, delivering and sending them home with meals that they can easily prepare for themselves. PowerUp currently serves over 400 students every weekend in the Portage Public School District and is making an effort to expand into more schools in the Kalamazoo region. Without PowerUp, many of these students would not otherwise have access to food on the weekend.
