Dr. Michael Brown Removed as an Overseer of Radiant Church

Dear Radiant Church family,

I am writing to inform you that due to recent allegations, Dr. Michael Brown has been removed as an Overseer of Radiant Church. While there will be a thorough investigation of the accusations made against him, we as the eldership of Radiant Church have determined that at least some of the things alleged and confirmed by Dr. Brown himself - are cause enough for us to remove him from this position.

The duties of an Overseer are to give input and advice on major issues affecting the church, arbitrate disputes should our eldership reach an impasse and serve as a support and advisor to me as the Senior Pastor of Radiant.

We believe that healthy church government is the foundation of a growing church and are committed to ensuring that the leaders we recognize are above reproach. While there is no such thing as a perfect person, leader or even church structure - we are committed to seeking God’s best practices as laid out in the New Testament. This means continually seeking God and His leadership for Radiant Church.

We ask you to join us in prayer both for the situation with Dr. Brown, and also with us as we determine a replacement in the near future.
