Speaker: Pastor Lee Cummings
Date: May 18, 2019

Have you ever wanted to ask a pastor a really awkward, taboo, or complicated question? Red Hot is a three-weekend live Q&A series that revolves around some of the hottest topics in our culture. In the final week of RED HOT, Pastor Lee Cummings answers your live questions about ANYTHING you can think of. That’s right... it’s wildcard weekend, and anything goes!

Questions from this Message:

  • “Can a believer be demonized?”

  • “In Matthew 24:34, Jesus said, "Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place." What generation was he referring to? Was he referring to the generation that witnessed Israel becoming a nation again?”

  • “Is there a biblical case that can be made for abortion if someone is raped or if the life of baby, mother is in danger?”

  • “My son is nonverbal and autistic. I worry that I won't be able to get through to him to teach him about God and salvation. What happens to those with disabilities, cognitive defects, making it difficult to teach the Bible? Will they go to heaven?”

  • “There is a lot of controversies right now centered around how much money some pastors make. Are the criticisms that we see towards some wealthy pastors fair or do you think that those who are offended have double standards? For example, they are okay with athletes being wealthy but not those in ministry.”

  • “The church has traditionally taught that there is a literal heaven and a literal hell. There are many modern voices that have made cases against a literal hell. What is the biblical stance on heaven and hell, and will there be eternal suffering for those outside of Christ?”
